Fleta (Robinson) Ash

Pioneers and Progress, Alix Clive Historical Club, 1974

I came to Alberta from Republican City, Nebraska in December 1908 with my foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Cassell and their small son Teddy.

My Dad had purchased the J.T. Handley place.

On November 8, 1911 Robert (Bob) Ash from Jones Valley and I were married.  Bob and I lived on the Cassell farm until 1914.

We have four children, Verna (Chopp) and Allan born in Canada, Lloyd and Raymond in Olympia…. We came to Washington in 1922.
