Haysweep

In Alix, Alberta, Images, Museums, Pioneer Farming, Pioneer tools & Machinery, Settlers on April 16, 2018 at 8:42 AM

Getting hay from field to stack involved using a haysweep which moved the hay from the windrow.  At each end of the haysweep, the whippletree was attached to a horse.  The haysweep was also known as a buck rake, folderstack or hayfork.
